pause at the bottom? what a dumb-ass. really bad neck position in the dl. that guy will talk your ass off. fair swing, Wrong shoes.
i usually take a breath once i’m at the bottom. that works for me, i’m not sure how comfortable you would be with that.

Hold your breath when you’re lowering or pulling up the bar.
IS there a different way to deadlift for taller people? I have trouble getting it back to the floor without leaning over and bending my back

An over hand grips is a good way to start, it keeps your shoulders aligned better. but when the waeight goes up the over/under will help you a lot
I have trouble breathing in, while lowering the bar, duiring deadlift. Gotta do it while standing and then lower with breath held.
I thought deadlift griping was supposed to be one hand over one hand under? That’s the way most of the power lifters seem to do it.
