@Schpeet1 Not enough space to answer you here. But any exercise heavy duty enough to grow muscle is going to place strains on muscles and joints. This is normal. If you are concerned about your age, then leave it a couple of years and then look to build muscle. You have time on your side and there is no hurry, muscle building is a lifestyle and a something to spread over a lifetime.
@DBU488150 But i heard that squats and clean is not good for your back when you are not done growing tall.
@Schpeet1 I hear you there. Trouble is that you aren’t a big guy. If only it were that simple. To quote Jason Ferruggia:
“Bench, squat, clean- three times per week, for five sets of five.
Its effective for building muscle and gaining strength.
That is the type of program you should be doing. And dont tell me its boring or ask me how long you should do it for. Get your squat up to at least 1.5 (and preferably 2) times your bodyweight for five reps and then we’ll talk.”
@DBU488150 Ok, i just did what the big guys in the gym told me. they say its best to train everyday with split routine. i want to get as big as possible without using steroids untill im done growing. im only 16 you know
@Schpeet1 If you are in the beginner stages and since you are asking that sort of question I’d expect that you are, I wouldn’t bother with any sort of splits routine. Just stick to full body workouts. Only go to a splits routine when you know what you are doing or if you are following a programme written by someone who has designed it especially for you or for people like you.
my workout plans:
Day 1: Triceps, Chest, Stomack.
Day 2: Biceps, Back, Shoulders
Day 3: Legs, Ass, Neck.
and repeat.
Is this good or bad?
Yes i totally agree. I used to work out for a lil while and i rest alot. i did it for a week and i saw a lil results. And im a skinny guy. But not i stopped my body came back to normal.
haha…. no lol at u thinking ur the smart one. why the fuck would u want to train the same muscle twice in a row… more is NOT better. just because u hit ur biceps twice a week will not make them grow more. splitting up muscle groups like shoulders into one day isnt effective at all if ur natural.
100% true i agree with every word, i used to be skinny at 6.1” 143 pounds, now i’m 200 pounds, well actually i didn’t start with 3 days a week i started with five, but one thing i found out u need the rest, so i train every other day, in combinations like chest and bi, and u cant do what the pros do at first it’ll take time to start doing supersets and stuff like that.
The key word here is ‘pros’. people in this situation cant do what the pros do….becuase theyre not pros!
3 week workout plan is perfect for beginners. When you start to increase your strength and stamina, as well as perfect those exercises, you can move on to a more rigorous schedule.
Its fine to work out say.. 5 times a week once your body can actually handle it.
This guy is right. Keep it simple to begin with and the gains will be much more.
Actually, he’s right. You do. Thats why its always important to work out in muscle groups.
Arms one day. Shoulders another. Back another. etc. Splitting those particular muscle groups up into different days is effectively training the same muscle twice in a row.
‘lol’ at you thinking you know what you’re talking about.
Kountry, experience tells me one thing, you believe another which is good, at least for me because people come to me after they’ve tried and failed to follow what the pros do.
your dumb and so is anyone whom believes this. Cuz what your saying not to do is exactly what the pros do, If no one believes me just look up Jay Cutler
THX FOR THE VIDEO
100% true
you sound like you know everything good job
hey can people comment and give advice on my video blog.
lol at saying u use triceps on a bicep day.
Nice advice 100% spot on
exellent, advice right there.
I’ve been trying to build muscle for over 2 years, constantly deluding myself thinking i was gettin bigger and that i didnt need to eat “properly”.
I began a proper diet and in about 6 months i’d say that i acheived more than i did in the previous 2 years.
Do not make the very silly and ignorant mistake i did.
Take what you’ve just heard in this video on board.
Good advice
